Adam returns to the Idol stage tonight to perform an acoustic version of ‘Aftermath” from the album For Your Entertainment. I personally think he should have won season 8 of Idol instead of coming in as winner up, but that’s all in the past. Tonight he will return to the place where it all started as true American Idol.
Lambert checked in on Ryan Seacrest’s show to talk about his upcoming appearance and the two gossiped about everything from Idol contestant James Durbin, who has been compared to Lambert because of his powerful rocker range and projection, to Adams thoughts on the new judges..
” I just started watching the season again. It’s really exciting. The judges are awesome. I’m really dying to meet Steven Tyler- I’ve never met him.
When Seacrest asked what he thought of James Durbin he replied,
“I think he’s great. We both do the high rocker thing but I think we’re a bit different. I never really got into metal so you wont be hearing me doing any Iron Maiden anytime soon!”
American Idol continues tonight 7 pm on Fox 26.
