The theme for the top 9 tonight is (Rock ‘N Roll) Hall of Fame songs.
Right off the top I will say James Durbin and Casey Abrams will SHINE tonight.
I’ve “researched” and made some predictions on tunes the contestants might sing.
The amount of songs from the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame episode is pretty much endless for the American Idol Top 9. After doing some digging into what songs the remaining nine American Idol contestants will sing, I have found an amazing prediction set by TVSquad. Below are their picks for what the Idol contestants will be singing tonight (April 6, 2011):
- James Durbin – “Jump” by [lastfm link_type=""]Van Halen[/lastfm]
- Haley Reinhart – “Barracuda” by [lastfm link_type=""]Heart[/lastfm]
- Paul McDonald – “American Girl” by [lastfm link_type=""]Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers[/lastfm]
- Casey Abrams – “Night Moves” by[lastfm link_type=""] Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band[/lastfm]

Since a live audience is banned from rehearsals, these are only predictions. Let’s see how close it turns out.
“Idol” tonight on Fox 26 at 7pm. I’ll be live with Ruben Dominguez tomorrow morning on the Fox 26 Morning News talking about it and making a prediction on who goes home.
