A few days ago Katy Perry was being asked about the possibility of a duet with Rihanna, when she made a refernce to “Beautiful Liar,” Beyonce‘s 2007 duet with Shakira. Everyone thought it was a jab at the song, but Katy claims otherwise!
Katy wrote on Twitter, “F*ck all y’all . . . dat thinks I dissed anyone, puhlez. Get a life, cuz it’s not mine! #hoodratcominout. If ya ears are filled with wax it’s time to get a cleanse boo. Anywayz . . . (steps off box).”
Whew! Now THAT is an aggressive tweet! lol
The confusion came from a BBC Radio interview when Katy said, “I want [my Rihanna duet” to be like that Eurythmics and Aretha Franklin song ‘Sisters Are Doin’ It for Themselves. Not ‘Beautiful Liar.”
Katy then said, “How disappointed would you be if [our] song came out and it’s no good?”
I guess she’s got a point, but do YOU think Katy accidentally got busted dissing Beyonce??
