Nick didn’t want his wifey to work for a direct competitor to his show, America’s Got Talent. Sources say that he begged Mariah to pass on the offer. He offered her diamonds, a spa vacay, even a one-time gift of $15mil to turn Idol down. But she took the gig anyway despite his pleas and now their marriage is in jeopardy because of the job that she hasn’t even started yet! Sources are saying that he wants her to be a stay at home mommy but she still has stars in her eyes..

Still no word on who’s joining Mariah on the judging panel but Snoop Dogg Lion says that he would love to be on Idol.

And Khloe Kardashian wants to take a stab at a different kind of reality show. She is being considered to be one of the hosts for X-Factor and she really wants the job. She told E! news, “I’m a big fan of The X Factor. I’ve always wanted to do hosting or talk show hosting, so it’s definitely something that I would love to do and would be honored to do. To be on such a huge show like that with those judges, I would have so much fun doing that.”
