With the recent announcement of Russell Crowe and Danielle Spencer splitting after nine years of marriage, it stands on the forefront of many inquisitive minds: how much money will the former Mrs. Crowe get in terms of money?
According to the Sydney Morning Herald, Spencer could receive as much as $25 million and possibly more.
In terms of assets, there is a $50 million property portfolio which includes a $14 million penthouse in Sydney and farmland in New South Wales; there are also investments from the couple in Australia’s Rabbitohs football club as well as approximately $150 million Crowe an Oscar winner, earned over the past two decades.
Spencer, who is a singer, signed a prenup that stipulated that Spencer would receive a minimum of $15 million if they divorced anytime after three years of marriage.
Crowe and Spencer married in 2003, after first meeting on the set of The Crossing. Crowe reportedly had marriage on his mind after meeting Spencer for the first time.
