It seems like everyone was rooting for pop’s most adorable couple since Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears. But ver since news broke about Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez’s rumored break up on Saturday, their loyal fans have been reacting and are supporting both sides. They had been officially dating February 2011, when they attended the Vanity Fair Oscar party as a couple.
In the past few weeks rumors were swirling about their relationship, but when Justin saw The Lion King on Broadway with a bunch of people, including 19-year-old Victoria’s Secret model Barbara Palvin, that’s when things seem to have imploded.
Barbara even started receiving hate messages on Twitter, but she let all of the Beliebers and Selena know that there was nothing going on between them.
last time im saying it. please calm down.there is nothing going on w him.i met him and did a pic w him. wouldnt u do the same?:) #friendship

It didn’t help Justin’s case when he added a shirtless photo of himself to Instagram, basically proclaiming he was single and ready to mingle.
His fans seemed to be more concerned about his broken heart rather than his newly single status, and used the hashtag #MissionHappyBieber to show him their support.
HERE IT IS: youtube.com/watch?v=7nJNYB… the #missionhappybieber video! Let's all try get this to Justin and make him smile! :)

Even his manger Scooter Braun gave him some good advice on how to move forward.
it is how we handle ourselves in the toughest situations that show our true character. Always show respect, integrity, and class.

Meanwhile Selena’s fans supported her with some silly tweets.

Her BFF Demi Lovato also took to Twitter to show her compassion.

For the most part, the fans behaved themselves and were more upset that they were no longer together.
:( I'm really sad about it. But nothing will change, I love @selenagomez and I love @justinbieber!

Last night Selena looked stunning as she stepped out to be honored with the Independent Spirit Award at the Glamour Women of Year Awards in New York City, and she told E! that “she’s “doing well” and really felt “so blessed” to be a part of Glamour’s event.”
Justin happened to be performing live in Brooklyn, and this morning he tweeted some advice.
"Life is short. It's gonna be what it's gonna be. As long as u put your best foot forward." -Glenn... words from a stranger I just met. :)

They are both so busy, that they won’t even have much time to reflect on their split. In the meantime, their legion of fans will be there for them.
