Pitbull, Mr. Worldwide himself, dropped by the 92.3 NOW/New York studios but it was no surprise — when it comes to surprises, Pitbull is full of them.

He got a surprise at the American Music Awards last week, when pop star Christina Aguilera asked him to her come out on stage during his set.

“That was a surprise, we got to the show and she was like ‘I wanna jump on stage,’” said Pitbull. The pair ended up performing a snippet their collabo track “Feel This Moment” after his hit “Don’t Stop The Party.”

Aguilera has been taking some low blows about her body in the press, but Pitbull thinks she looks perfectly fine.

“She looks great! I guess when people see her on television, you know television can put 10-20 pounds easily, but to me it’s not about what you look like,” he said. “Everybody is caught up on criticizing and no one’s positive anymore. Everything is negative about people, so to me a lot of people are insecure…I think it’s all about being happy. And I think there [are] two words you can’t define: ‘normal’ and ‘happy.'”

It’s that time of the year where everyone becomes extra grateful for something in their lives and for Pitbull, it’s his his new album – which, by the way, features a laundry list of A list collaborations.

“It’s an amazing opportunity to put out another record, and what I’m proud of is it’s giving me a chance to show the world how I am all around the world — and how I am influenced by the world.”
