Actress Drew Barrymore is within the greatest role of her life: motherhood. Barrymore recently showed off her nine-week-old bundle of joy for the world to see and shared the joy that comes with being a mother and a wife.

During an interview for “PEOPLE Magazine”, Barrymore spoke about the anxious state she was in while to adjusting to life as a new mom: “I couldn’t eat or sleep for two weeks, I was just so nervous!” she tells “PEOPLE Magazine”.

Known for starring in such movies as E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Never Been Kissed 50 First Dates and He’s Just Not That into You, Barrymore also spoke of her intentions to give her new baby, Olive a traditional home environment: “I really wanted a wonderful traditional home for my kid,” she says. “Will comes from a strong family, he provides a strong family … It just makes me so emotional because it’s like a miracle,” Barrymore added in her interview with “PEOPLE Magazine”.
