British pop star Cher Lloyd writes her own fairy tale in her latest video, “With Ur Love.” Set in a storybook fantasy world reminiscent of Cinderella or Snow White, the video for the second single off her debut album, Sticks + Stones is darker than you would expect.

“The idea behind the video is to create something that isn’t necessarily so predictable,” Cher tells fans in a newly released behind the scenes video. “This video is being one of those little pushes to get me to try new things.”

Cher rotates through characters and scenes. She goes from a princess clad in a black lace lined blue dress on a throne to a maiden dressed in a winter white knee-length gown and topped off with an Indian-inspired reverse tiara. At a banquet table she rocks a very unusual look for her — dark red lips lined black. The simple lipstick trick almost transforms her into another person, it’s so drastically different from the pink and nude lips we’re used to seeing on the fiesty singer.

“One of my favorite set ups from today was definitely me on the throne just because it felt very empowering,” said Cher. “I felt like I was really big, when really, I’m really small.”
