Bruno Mars‘ fans showed tremendous love to the singer by appearing in record number during his RodeoHouston performance Thursday night!

Mars, singer of such hits as “Just the Way You Are,” “Locked out of Heaven,” “Billionaire” sang to a record number of fans as he danced, sang, and sang some more. At one point, he invited his fans to help him sing his hits!

According to Rodeo officials, Thursday night’s attendance for Mars’ concert at Reliant was 75,175; it was a number that eclipsed the record set last year when Jason Aldean was the musical act. That show brought 74,901 fans into the stadium.

Twenty-six-year-old Mars beckoned his fans to join his “Mars-a-pooloza” by asking for lighters to fan during “Just the Way You Are” and keeping them on their feet with every note that lingered from his lips!

Mars even took to his Twitter page to thank Houston for a memorable experience:
