Iconic singer and current “American Idol” judge Mariah Carey reaches into her inner being to release heart-felt vocals and musical craftsmanship in the new “Almost Home” video from Disney’s Oz: The Great and Powerful movie.

Carey offers fans what they have come to expect and love about the singer in the realms of a black and white video that features simple, yet poignant movement and melodies.

Carey sits on a stool in the video while musically telling the story of hope. Footage of the movie is also within the video and the symbolism of reaching to new heights and realizing one’s dreams is played out in a calming musical landscape.
