Things haven’t been easy for Matthew Morrison in the past last season of Glee. His character Will Schuester went to Washington D.C. for a job, which kept him away from his precious glee club and his fiancée, Emma, who left him at the altar after telling him she kissed a former student who filling in as the head of the glee club while he was away. Oh, the drama.

But Morrison told Radio.com that his character, who is currently back in Lima, Ohio and trying to make it work with his ex-fiancée, will get a bit of a happy ending on this season’s finale, airing tonight (May 9) on Fox. Morrison didn’t give too much away, but said, “things end very nicely.”

“Things are going to get wrapped up a little bit,” he said. “And he [Will Schuester] is going to have a good trajectory into season five.”

Unfortunately, fans won’t get to hear Morrison sing in the finale, not that he doesn’t mind getting a break–he’s done 548 musical numbers over the course of its four seasons. With all those performances you would think it would be hard to pick a favorite, but Morrison’s managed to round up two he likes best.
