The Dave, Mahoney, & DK Morning Show Not So Silent Night concert is happening on December 15th and we couldn’t be more excited!
The annual holiday show will feature, Train, Fitz & The Tantrums and special guests, The Strumbellas at Revention Music Center.
Here are the top 3 songs from the Grammy-winning rock group, Train you must know before joining us at Not So Silent Night!
Play That Song:
You may recognize the tune of their latest single from the movie “Big” where Tom Hanks dances on the huge piano to “Heart and Soul.” “Play That Song” samples the catchy tune and is loved by just about everyone!
Drops Of Jupiter:
Listening to this song is instant nostalgia of Train in the early 2000s. In an episode of MTV’s Behind The Music, Pat Monahan shared inspiration for the song that landed them in the number 5 spot on the Billboard 100. “I just couldn’t figure out what to write, but then I woke up from a dream about a year after my mother passed away with the words ‘back in the atmosphere..’ It was just her way of saying what it was like – she was swimming through the planets and came to me with drops of Jupiter in her hair.” Beautiful!
From their first album released in 1998, “Meet Virginia” was the second song on the album that earned the band enough money to purchase a van and hit the road on tour for two years! Bonus points to them for talking about soy lattes before basic soy lattes became cool!
