Nico Was Thrown Out Of A Truck, Almost Died And Was Rescued By ADORE Houston

Nico was driven to the side of the road on Houston’s south side & thrown out of the window of a truck. She struggled to get up & drag herself out of the ditch where she landed. She was trying to hurry so she could get back in the truck before he drove off & abandoned her. Seeing this, the man who tossed her out like a bag of rubbish then attempted to run over her. A paramedic witnessed all of this & immediately pulled his vehicle in front of the truck before the man could kill her. The man told him, “You can take her, she won’t make me any money anyway.” Nico had bite & puncture marks on one of her hips, & the paramedic feels she was being used as a bait dog. (He was able to copy down the truck’s license number & report him to the police.)

Nico is the sweetest little girl. She is so friendly & lovable, goofy & playful. She loves people, dogs of any size & cats. Nico enjoys frozen carrots as a snack. God only knows the pain & suffering she has endured, but we know it’s probably more than we can even imagine. The paramedic who saved her said she looks at you with a face that is constantly saying, “Thank you.”

Nico is under 1 year old & a long haired terrier mix. Despite everything she’s been through, Nico’s heart & spirit remains pure & untouched by the evilness done to her. This is the miracle dogs bring to our lives. Please consider giving Nico a home where she can celebrate Thanksgiving w/ her forever family.
