We got a chance to speak to Jim Urry, the Vice President of Entertainment for Disney Cruise Lines. Jim told us all about the various activities and all of the entertainment on the Disney Wonder for the whole family.
From early morning to late at night, kids can let their imaginations sail free in clubs designed exclusively for them. And parents can set off on their own adventures, knowing their kids are taken care of by fun-loving, specially trained Disney Youth Counselors. Two distinct clubs engage kids 3 – 12, while Tweens and Teens enjoy separate, private spaces complete with big screens, great music and lots of new friends.
- Kids ages 3-12 can play the day away in Disney’s Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab.
- Tweens ages 11-14 have their own space – Edge, where they
- can make new friends, enjoy cool digital games and much more.
- Teens ages 14-17 gather at Vibe – a parent free zone where teens can
- hang-out and make their Disney Cruise vacation totally theirs!
While the kids are having the time of their lives in the Kids Clubs, adults can soak up the sun and simply relax at their own quiet cove pool, savor luxurious adult-only dining experiences or indulge in an on-board full-service spa. Then each evening adults can explore a massive nighttime entertainment district with live entertainment, games, sports and libations. It’s a vacation full of ways to unwind and rejuvenate in adult-exclusive areas.
A Disney cruise brings families together in unique and memorable ways with exclusive Disney entertainment. Enjoy deck parties with fireworks at sea, enjoy a Broadway quality show in the Walt Disney Theater with an amazingly talented crew of stage performers or see a newly released movie while on board the ship. When we asked Jim what he’s most excited about the guests to experience he said it was “Frozen – A Musical Spectacular”. The stage show brings Frozen to life inside the Walt Disney Theater each night.
