With the judges’ scores combined with viewer votes to determine the winner, it was overwhelmingly Pickler who stole the show with her smooth grooves, tenacity and skill week after week.

Problems on Monday during voting on the ABC website were cited, during the show’s East Coast broadcast. As a result, “Dancing” host Tom Bergeron stated that on Tuesday those votes would not be counted. Only votes cast by phone, text and Facebook made up the final tally.

Disney Channel star Zendaya Coleman came in a cool second place while football pro Jacoby Jones “samba-ed” his way into third.

The unrated version of “Blurred Lines,” which Thicke premiered April, features several women sans clothing. YouTube quickly banned the naked clip, but not before it racked up more than one million hits.

“We just had a great feeling about the song,” Thicke told Carson Daly. “I made it last summer. I mean, I had it for about eight or nine months and Jimmy Iovine liked it, but nobody was really jumping all around the place for it.”

“And then we shot the video and Jimmy called me seven seconds into the video and he said, ‘This is a smash! This video is amazing!’”

Houston was awarded the 2017 Super Bowl on Tuesday in a highly anticipated vote during the NFL owners’ spring meeting.

Team owners voted for Super Bowls L and LI (50 and 51, respectively) and awarded both San Francisco and Houston an NFL championship game.

San Francisco edged out Miami for Super Bowl 50 in 2016 with its plans for a new stadium.

Mrs. Carter has always been a powerful figure in music, but on her latest song there is a new (and different) sense of confidence here. She starts off the track by letting people know she’s been working at this since she was a little kid and she’s no one-trick pony: “Told the world I’m gonna paint this town/ Now b****** I run this.”

On the track, a snippet of which debuted in Bey’s recent Pepsi ad, she continuously touts her power. She sings, “They love the way I walk/Cause I walk with a vengeance/And they listen to me when I talk/Cause I ain’t pretending.” She ends it all by explaining that it took some time for her to get this ego boost and she’s not giving up on it anytime soon. It’s almost as if she’s letting all the ladies know, “If I can do it, so can you.”

When she delivers lines like, “I can be bad if I want/I can say what I want/I can live fast if I want/I can go slow all night long,” it’s clear she’s not apologizing for anything anymore.

Judge Demi Lovato will also return for next season, rounding out the panel.

Cowell commented in a press release, saying, “It’s taken more than a decade, but I’m delighted to finally be on a panel with three girls (I think!). Paulina and Kelly both have great taste and massive experience in the music industry and together with Demi, this is going to be a fun panel. It just feels like the time to do something different.”

This duo certainly add something different to The X Factor. Rowland — a founding member of Destiny’s Child, an R&B solo star and the voice behind the massive dance hit “When Love Takes Over” with David Guetta — possesses variety but can potentially help identify R&B talent, which has gone unrecognized on the show this far. Rowland is no stranger to The X Factor family, having previously served on the panel for the U.K. show.

In many areas, power remains out at one of the city’s main water treatment facilities. Oklahoma City officials state that despite rainfall on Monday in several areas, that rain was accompanied by lightning and as a result, delayed progress to restore power at the Draper Water Treatment Plant.

Low water pressure is also being reported in downtown Oklahoma City, the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and in other areas.

With the water issues OKC is facing, residents are being asked to turn off their irrigation and sprinkler systems in an effort to conserve water.

Officials are also asking that residents postpone other activities that require water such as running dishwashers and washing machines until water supplies are

CBS News is reporting that 236 people were injured, including approximately 50 children.
